Marketing Resources Designed to Help Health Mart Pharmacies Promote Their Capabilities as Community Healthcare Providers

SAN FRANCISCO — Health Mart®, a community franchise of more than 3,100 independently owned pharmacies across all 50 states, today announced the launch of its new Local Marketing Support program designed to make it easier for Health Mart owners to grow their business by attracting new patients and driving new revenue. The Local Marketing Support program provides matching funds and comprehensive marketing tools and campaigns, letting Health Mart owners increase awareness of their store and community care offerings.

Local Marketing Support: Designed to let owners market their pharmacy in their own way, the Local Marketing Support program helps franchise owners attract new patients and retain current customers to help grow revenue in the following ways:

  1. The Marketing Hub: Developed to meet the marketing needs of Health Mart owners, the new Marketing Hub provides Health Mart stores with a variety of resources to promote their pharmacy. Owners have the option of selecting individual tactics or pre-packaged integrated campaigns from a catalog of more than 100 traditional, digital and social media marketing tools. The new and updated marketing tools include in-store promotional materials, email templates, social media content and automated post management, TV and radio production and placement, community outreach and public relations.

    A new social media solution helps owners enhance their online presence, by providing automated content for a pharmacy’s Facebook page. More than 600 messages – text, images and video – are available to help owners keep their pages fresh and engaging all year long, offering general tips on healthy lifestyles, seasonal issues like cough/cold and more. Offered as a subscription model, each pharmacy can choose to have posts automatically published on the store’s behalf or select items to post manually.

  2. Flexible matching funds: Owners are able to use flexible matching funds from Health Mart to offset the cost of creating and executing a variety of tactics or campaigns on the Marketing Hub*. To simplify the ordering process, the matching funds are immediately applied when eligible items are ordered on the Marketing Hub.

  3. Local Marketing Coordinators: Health Mart marketing coordinators are available by phone, email or live chat. Local Marketing Coordinators help owners utilize the Marketing Hub resources effectively and support the execution of campaigns.
